N & N completed waterfront planning for nine new and reconfigured ferry landings with terminal facilities. The new terminals accommodate new fast ferries added to the Bermuda fleet as well as the current vessels. The replacement ferry project provides much improved ferry service for Bermuda residents and visitors and relieves congestion on the overburdened island road network. Norris & Norris assisted Bourne Consulting Engineering with the land/water interface conditions, the site plan layouts for all terminals, and review of upland facility plans. N & N also provided the architectural design services for the floating canopy structures at the central Hamilton Terminal. The site planning and architectural services were provided for the Bermuda Ministry of Transportation.
